A small family estate of 4 hectares, which was taken over by Madame Prevot-Joly Sylvie since 2007. All the wines are produced in Puligny-Montrachet. It operates a near-natural viticulture, which also includes the restoration of the vineyards. All wines are vinified in oak barrels from the Allier forests and ferment naturally. A minimum level of “sulfitage” treatments are carried out. The wines are not filtered before being bottled.

The vineyard of Les Charmes is located on the border with Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru and the terroirs similarly rounder and richer than some other terroirs of Puligny Village. Their balance, aromatic complexity, and purified style demand delicate but rich food. The Bourgogne Chardonnay and its village are great place to start for those newer to Burgundy, yet many experienced Burgundy drinker will find these fascinating. The quality far exceeds its appellation which proves easy on your palate, and easy on your wallet.
